Prospector Inn - Escalante

While visiting Escalante, we felt the warmth of the Prospector Inn, where friendly staff was nice. Clean, comfortable room. Close to fine hiking trails!

I stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the room, which was a nice size with good space. Central location of this low-budget hotel was a bonus. It also was between incredible hikes.

Restaurant was perfect for a breakfast. I appreciated the room with big bathroom, the bed was comfy. Its location relatively near Golden Cathedral was perfect.

I loved how easily I could walk to the Escalante Interagency Visitor Center, only a short stroll away, and explore the local charm of shops and eateries like the Circle D Eatery just a few steps from my room. This place.

Lack of coffee makers in rooms!!! Staff confusion over pre-paid reservations!!! Coffee station empty in the morning!!! Room decor feeling notably dated!!! Better training for staff on reservations needed!!!

The room was quiet and comfortable-perfect for a peaceful night's rest. The bathroom featured modern fixtures, made getting ready enjoyable. I appreciated the convenient access to nearby shops and eateries, easy to explore after a long day of adventures.

The only drawback was the absence of a coffee maker and some noise from neighboring rooms late at night, but it quieted down quickly. Convenient parking added a nice touch.

Just a commendable fit for a short stint in Escalante with fantastic value for money. The staff shared awesome tips about local dining that really enhanced my stay. Check out the photo tours-they sound very nice!
